
The inaugural Wolf Honours Evening will take place on June 2, 2026, at the Royal Conservatory of Music’s Koerner Hall in Toronto. The evening will celebrate the life and legacy of former Supreme Court Justice, The Honourable Rosalie Abella.
Wolf Honours recognizes exceptional Canadians who embody the values at the heart of the Wolf Scholars Program, an immersive, full-ride undergraduate scholarship program at the University of Toronto.
Wolf Scholars is an interdisciplinary and enriching scholarship program designed to develop Canada's next generation of thoughtful builders, innovators and leaders. Wolf Scholars are defined by a drive to build, deep intellectual curiosity and engagement, and exceptional character.
The Wolf Scholars Program is administered and funded by the Wolf Cooper Foundation and delivered in partnership with the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy at the University of Toronto.
Rosalie Abella is a most deserving recipient of the Wolf Honours recognition. One of our country’s most respected and influential jurists, Justice Abella is deeply admired for shaping Canadian human rights law through her work as a justice on Canada’s Supreme Court.
Rosalie Abella’s career reflects a lifelong commitment to equality, justice, and human dignity. Her opinions are among the most cited, taught, and relied upon in Canada.
Justice Abella will serve as the Honorary Chair of the inaugural class of Wolf Scholars, who will matriculate as undergraduates at the University of Toronto in September 2026.
